Zoey's Bathtime

I thought everyone would enjoy seeing Zoey enjoy her bathtime. She is already such a little princess. She loves to take a bath. This is nice having her enjoy her baths because Zach use to hate his, he would scream the entire time. She even loves to have her hair washed and brushed. After her bath she just lays there and enjoys while I lotion her up. This is my dream come true to have such a little princess.

Merry Christmas

I hope everyone had as good as a Christmas as we did. I thought I would share some of our Christmas pics with everyone.
Here is Zach enjoying his Nintendo Wii. He is bowling in this picture Zach asked for a gift card for Walmart. In this picture that is what he just opened. He kept saying that it was chocolate, so when he opened it he was so excited.
Zach is in to a new cartoon called Ben 10. He asked for the Ben 10 watch, and that is what he got. He was so surprised when he opened it because he thought the present was a ball.
This was Zoey's present from Zach. It is the Ocean's Aquarium to go in her bed. Zach had a similar one when he was a baby and loved it. Travis put Zoey in her crib so watch it tonight and she just sat and stared at it. It is like her bouncer, it has a waterfall with animals, and it plays calming music.
Zach got a Nintendo Wii from Santa, so here is Zach and Travis playing baseball. I am not really a game player but this Wii is a lot of fun.
I guess I duplicated the picture and I don't know how to take it out so you have to look at them again.

X-mas morning

This is Zach coming into the living room to see what santa left. He got a Wii and wii are all having a good time playing. It is some what of a workout. He has won at bowling, but I beat him in baseball and boxing.

Thank You Aunt Donna

Today in the mail we received the most beautiful Christmas Dress for Zoey from her Aunt Donna! It is soooo BEAUTIFUL! I had to put it on her right away. I couldn't wait to take her picture in it and post it for everyone to see. This is the best part of having a little girl. Although, Zoey already seems to hate being dressed. Guess she better get use to it because she has a long road of dress up ahead of her. Thank you Donna you have great taste!!

Thank You Aunt Donna

We would like to thank Donna for Zoey's new bouncer. Zoey loves it!!! And so does MOM!! It finally gives me a break. I can actually get a few things done. Zoey likes to be held, I think it is because I am nursing her so she is used to the closeness, and actually I love the time I get to just sit here with her, it gives me an excuse to not get things done. So here are a few pictures of Zoey enjoying her new bouncer. Thanks again Donna.

Pictures

Well, we had some pictures professionally done on Saturday. They turned out pretty good. If anybody wants to look at them here is how to do it. Go to www.kortphotography.com click on view proofs, scroll down until you see a picture of us saying the Early Family and then the pass code is Zoey. If you look at them let us know what you think.

Final Doctors Appt.

Well, today I had my final Doctor's appointment. He said everything looks good and we are still sticking to November 29. He gave me all of my instructions for that day. So we are all set! Now it is getting scary!! Exactly 2 weeks from today we will have a new little baby!!

The Count down to "ZOEY"

Well, I had my 36 week check up yesterday and everythig is looking good. My doctor is trying to get me to have the baby on Nov. 23. That is the day after Thanksgiving and the biggest shopping day of the year. Not that I plan on going shopping but I have never had the opportunity to do so. So as of right now Zoey will be arriving on Nov. 29. So we only have 3 weeks left. I am finally getting excited but scared to start all over. Zach has been such a wonderful child I am afraid we are going to get a demon! The doctor is guessing that when I have her that she will be close to 9 lbs. Thank GOD of C-sections. I am trying to work up until the day before I have her, but it is getting harder and harder. Zach is also counting down the days for Zoey he is getting so excited. Well, that is it for now just thought I would update everybody on what is going on.

Talk to you later,

Traci

Try this

Last night in the quest for something healthy to eat I made turkey burgers. They are really good, and have almost no greese. All you have to do is buy ground turkey and mix with salt and pepper. Place E.V.O.O. (Racheal Ray) on the grill or patties to prevent sticking. These are awesome!

Yest. to save some cash, Zach and I changed the oil in my truck. It only saves about 5-10 dollars but every bit helps. Zach was my tool man on the spot. It took alittle bit of work, but the joy of saving $60 at the end of the year all seems worth it :(. Now I can super size....for Zach.....or play one round of golf...next year.

Zach is smart..like me

We got Zach's second report card last week and it is really good! He can identify all his letters (but b and v) and counts to 100 by ones, fives and tens. He also knows all his letter sounds and is one of the few in his class reading. The teacher is really awesome because she gives each student work to their level as apposed to the class lesson. Zach has all reading and adding homework. She gives him his own work in and out of class. He has accomplished everything needed to graduate kindergarten. You know he gets it from his proud dad.

Count down 3 weeks

So we now have 3 weeks until Zoe is here. I know we are ready, but it seems like it is coming so fast. My stress level is much lower this time than when Zach was coming. Not all the "can I really do this" running through your head. I guess I've learned that parenting is no perfect art. Look at Zach, even when I am the most prepared and organized, a E.R. trip is always seconds away. Kids fall, get bumps, eat when they want to, and get dirty no matter what. You're never really in control you just have to roll with it. My true worry and fear will come when she is a teen ager.

2 more games left

Two more soccer games left in the season!! It has been fun, however I am kinda happy it's ending. Most of the kids have been fun to have. The parnets on the other hand have been a real pain. They don't bother me much, or ask any questions. The main thing is they don't ever offer to help. They watch me as much as the kids. If my hands are full or the kids are running wild, they on look. Not even a thank you or good job! Half skip practice now. When the game is done, you would think there is a mad rush to leave the parking lot to get out first. I wish they got to the game as prompt as they leave it. The other team is always there early with 5 players, my team parents get there about 5 minutes after game is suppose to start! To all those with kids listen up! The coach is not getting paid and is using his free time to be with your kids. If your child is not getting better at the end of the season, try getting to practice and working with your kid at home. Another tip, police your child. If he or she wonders on and off the field have the kid pick one and let the coach know. Also help carry things, get to practice and games early, bring the coach a drink on your snack day, and say thank you. Such little things go a long way.

Down 10

So I started a diet about 3 weeks ago when I stepped on the scale and it said 205. I knew in my head when the scale got over 200 it was going to be time to do something. I started running for 30 mins. everyday and watching my calories. The first week was hell and alittle depressing. When I was in college I could run a seven minute mile with ease. The first day, some ten yrs later, it moved up to an eighteen min. mile. I felt sick. I was sore, sadly it hit me I was out of shape and.....old. My goal was to get to 185 (-20 lbs.) by Zoey's birth. Today I'm at 195 and ran 2.25 miles in 30 minutes. The first mile I ran in 11 minutes. I am eating better and getting close to the goal that some laughted at when I started.(Remember Zach's party mom and dad) This is not an easy house to diet in. Traci wants me fat and Zach is always snacking on something. I shall overcome! See ya at 185 on Nov 29th.

Game 5 half way point

Today was the half way point for the soccer season. We are now 4-1. Today was a really good game, the type of game kids and parents will be talking about for months! The Hornets are down 2-0 at half and looking alittle lost. The coach needs just one player to step up and turn the tide. He scans the field for that one player to stand out and step forward. The coach has to trust his go to player to take the team on his back and lead them to victory. The plan is hatched and goes into effect. The player comes out onto the field with fire in his eye and a foot cocked and loaded for goal scoring. 3 minutes into the qtr a thunderous shot is sent screaming into the net, cutting the deficit in half. The ball is placed back in play and sent to and fro with kicks and vollies from each side. Then just before half the player comes out of no where and takes the ball down field for a goooalll. The score is even the game is in the balance, anyone can take it. Who will be the victor? The player shortly before the game ends sends the last shot off his white laced black leather laser foot in the net. The Hornets have come from behind to win!!! Whom is the player you ask? It was the coach's son the crowd says in a hush. The coach's son......Zach. How's that recap?

Oct 11, 2007

What's new

The weeks all seem to go so fast. Where has the time gone. It has been awhile sense I bored you with soccer. The team is doing better than I thought. It is really hard to control 6 kids and most of the time I think they control me. Right as I get 4 to do what they are suppose to do the other 2 are on a mental vacations. If you think the games are fun to watch them go all over the place, try viewing a practice. Zach is having another good season. He is so fast with the ball that no one can catch him. He has about 8 goals in 4 games. The team is 3-1, but who's counting....besides me.
The Chargers are a hot topic also. So Turner finally won one, or the team won despite Turner. It is always great to beat Denver, but even better in a blow out. The team better win this week. The only team I HATE losing to is Oakland. I do not care at the end of the year if we go 2-14, as long as the two wins are Oakland. It's just something about those "fans" I hate.
Traci will be having the baby on Nov. 29. The coundown is on. I am excited to see her. I have to finish painting the room this weekend, or at least start it. Traci and Zach are naming her Zoey, I had no say about that (nor did the poll) but I guess I was out voted.(ignored) Maybe Zoe can be the swing vote for me in the future.

It's my birthday in...

The first thing I hear every morning is Zach's countdown to his birthday. Tom. it is here for him. 6 years old. It seems not to long ago I was changing his diaper and giving him bottles. He is more than I ever expected. Zach is smart, funny, witty, athletic, cheerful, friendly(to a fault)and everything else I can't remember right now. He is a total handful some days, but I wouldn't trade one of them.

Oct 1, 2007

Fire Turner!!

The Chargers coach is a real piece of ....work. He never gives the ball to LT and passes way to much. The D this year flat out sucks, ever hear of rushing the passer? Merriman is dropping into coverage to many times and needs to be going up field. The team looks like it's not ready to play and that is on the coaches. Every play should not be a surprise to them on both sides of the ball! If I was the coach it would go something like this. 1st down= run to the left. 2nd down=run to the left/or pass over the middle to Gates. 3rd (and short) run up the middle. How hard is it to give it to the best player in the NFL? If we lose even one of the next two they should fire Turner at the start of the bye week. At better thought fire him now!! Bring back Marty!

Sep 17, 2007

Chargers week 2

My thoughts on the game...we sucked!!! No defense to stop the Pats. Turner refuses to run the ball on first down, or second, then leaves us with in a must pass sitiuation. It seems Turner is so fast to give up on the run if LT doesn't get 5 or more yards on every play. They needed to grind it out like they did in the third qtr. The only way to slow the Pats was to keep them off the field. I hope they play better next week in GB, or this could be a long season for fans and a short one for Turner!

1st Soccer Game

Zach and I had our 1st game on Sat. It was hot outside but the kids all did a good job. The team we played was a little to small for our team. Almost every boy on my team was a full head taller than the other. Even if we don't keep score, if we had, the score would have been 5-0. Zach had 3 goals and my other player had 2 goals. I was glad my team played well because the other coach was a mom wearing a pink princess hat, had we lost I would have never heard the end of it.

Sep 9, 2007

Chargers week one

That was a defensive battle between two top ranked D's of last season and I will say this season. LT is being dogged for not having a big game, and Rivers is taking some to. The Bears D is great, it got them to the SB last year. SD is not going to put up 30+ points a game. LT is not going for 100 yds every game and Rivers may even throw an int. every so often. Here are the facts the way I see it. Rivers threw the ball outstanding and to the right people almost every time. He had one int. on his only bad pass of the game, it happens. LT was still money without the stats. He was the reason for all 14 points! Gates was unstoppable (with 9 men in the box he should have been) the Bears chose to stop the run at any cost. LT having a game where he could do nothing, and the team still winning is the real thing people should look at. This was the "blueprint" to stopping SD, but you still come away with an 11 point loss. The D for SD held up big time! The Bears O is bad, but the D did what it was suppose to do, force turnovers and not give up a big play. The ref's almost cost us the game with that bullshit no call on the offsides, but it seemed to get the offense going. That was such a crappy turnover with no fault to the center or QB. Pats are next Sunday in prime time, Go Bolts! P.S. The Raiders lost again. You suck Oakland!!!

The longest mile

We had the Hemo. 5k/1 mile walk on Sat in Las Vegas. I did not go last year and Traci and Zach really wanted me to go this year so I could run the mile with Zach. I was up to run with him and have a good time. The trail goes up through a neighborhood and back down a main street where you turn around and go back the way you came to finish. They did not tell me the 1 mile mark was painted on the ground and that is where the 1 mile turns back around while the 5k people go to their turn around point some 1.5 miles away. Zach and I start off runing as the horn goes off we we move pretty far out front. We are moving right along running then walking then running again. About 15 minutes late Traci calls my cell phone and asks where are we,they just turned at the half mile mark. I say what half mile mark, I didn't see a sign, we are on the main street on the backside of the route. She then tells me to turn back around we are WAY past the mile turn around point. Not funny on a blazing hot morning. So we turn around and start back toward the finish line, and I'm thinking the whole time just how far did I run. We cross the finish line with a time of 28:38. After they give out awards for the 5k runners (which is 3 miles, remember that) and we have something to eat, I want to retrace the route Zach and I took to see how far we went total. Guess how far? Zach and I ran 2.4 miles in a 1 mile walk! The only good thing is we did it in a good time and had fun. I do not think I have to go next year, I have 1.4 miles on credit.

What a Week

I am so glad this week is over. It is really slow at work but all I hear from my DM is why are sales slow? I guess it's cuz no one is in the mall and making people buy at gun point is against the law. Also I had one more soccer thing to go to, hopefully it is the last. Just to be a coach for the kids is like having another job. Just to fill you in; I have had to go to one coach's meeting in the boiling sun for 45mins, go to coach's training on a Sat. morning for 2 hours, reg. as a vol. on-line, and then go to get the uniforms (which became a meeting) for another hour. About 4 hrs total and no games or practice to show for it. Traci has worked all week two, and that means me and Zach all night long. For the most part he is a good boy but starting homework with him is like pulling teeth. Then I get dinner going for us and count down to bedtime! Zach never seems to slow down only wear me down. I do not think I have made it past 9 this week. Last Sun we drove home from Vegas and I took a nap on the couch when we got home. Zach got into his mom's nail paint and painted all my toenails and half my fingernails. I can find no peace. My mom is taking Zach this Sat night, thank God, I need a night off. I hope Traci doesn't except me cook dinner when I get home that night:]

Raiders are coming...

raider hater

Only true Charger fans need watch this

Raider Hater

It's almost that time of year again to start up the Charger war machine. Why you ask are you such a die hard for the Chargers? It's because I had to put up with so much shit talking during the crappy years. You know the 6-10 years and worst. Hearing all the crap and eating all the shit. My time has come for the last 3 years and I will not shut up. Raider nation you have nothing but mom's basement and your darth raider outfit with clown make-up. You do not scare people, you make us laugh. Since Tampa Bay took your soul in the SB you have done NOTHING. After week 4 it's college football for you...."let's go look at next years Raider draft, homes." Soccer fan has more class than Raider Nation. Don't wear the silver and black on Sunday and expect not to hear some crap, you did it for years. Don't talk about your 3 SB titles, it's been 25yrs. To close Raider Nation- see you at the game dressed like a fool then run to the exit mid-way through the 3rd qtr with your make-up running. Look at the Raider Haters laugh at the Raiders fans while the police are beating them and throwing them in the drunk tank. Andale ese here come da 5.0."

Ruff Weekend

Well, we had a ruff weekend. Zach missed school on Tuesday because he woke up through up at 3:00 a.m. We thought that was the end of it, but we were wrong it came back Saturday. He complained of a tummy ache and started throughing up again. He ran about 102 throughout the night. He slept almost all day today. I did to because I was worn out as well. He has now said his ear hurts. So I looked in it and it looks a little red. Thank goodness we had some antibotic ear drops left over from last time. So we started those tonight to hopefully prevent an er visit tonight. It is now almost 9:00 p.m. and he his running just a little fever, so we will see how he fills come tomarrow morning to see if he can even go to school. I almost think he is really dehydrated. Because all last week it was around 118 outside and when he is at school they go outside a couple times during the day in that heat. Zach is like me he can't handle the heat, and he doesn't want to slow down he wants to play like the other kids. I send two water bottles to school with him everyday and they both come back empty, so hopefully he is really drinking them both. Who knows though. So that has been out exciting weekend. We will keep you updated on Zach.

Zach's 1st Day of School

Mr. Zach made his first steps out into the real world today, it was his first day of school. He was really excited to go and make new friends. I think the days of staying at home with Mom and Dad are starting to bore him. Like the adv. boy he is he ran into this new venture with no fears. He did not shed one tear, so brave. Mom however will be crying for the next week or so. He is growing up so fast. He said he had fun at school and gave us a run down of his day. It was a long day for him but he didn't seem to mind, however, he was very grumpy in the car. We got ice cream and ate pizza after school, in that order. I hope he cont. to love school, and gets lots of learning done in them there reading books.-Travis

The Pole

For those of you whom have come here to vote on a name we had to change it because we added one name and I had put up the wrong one in the first one. Thank you for your patience. I read a blog the other day that was very hateful toward men. The blog shall remain nameless, but I know they think they "support" retirees that golf and seem to favor cross dressers...sick. Sometimes you should know all the facts before posting false info. I will speak no more of this, I am late to a pant fitting.

Air II

Letting the world know that Zach has starting playing basketball. For the last two days Zach and I have been hitting the court. He has made about 5 baskets each day, and is driblling really good. Don't get me wrong, he can't post me up and take me to the rack yet... give that about 10 yrs. When that day does comes he should except a hard foul and two free throws!! The video below is Zach in about 16 yrs, if he keeps me on as coach. I will keep you posted on his progress.-Travis

Zach's shot's lead to ER visit

Well, even though Zach was so brave at the Dr. office on Thursday, Friday night I noticed that his whole upper arm was extremley swollen, red, hot to the touch and was solid as a rock. I gave him an extra shot just in case he had a muscle bleed and we iced it. The next morning it had gotten a little worse so I gave him another shot and called his Dr. in Las Vegas. He said it didn't sound like a muscle bleed it sounded more like an infection. Dr. B said he would either like to see him up there or take him to the local ER and let him know what was going on. It was pretty sad that when I called Dr. Bernstein he answered his phone saying "hello Mrs. Early". That just goes to show you that he keeps me in his cell phone because he knows how I am. So we went to the ER and the DR. there said it looked like he had a bad reaction to the shots. So he put him on a steroid and said to talk to his Pediatrtion on Monday. Zach's arm is no longer red but it is still a little swollen and his whole upper arm is one big bruise. So I think it was a combo of both a bleed and a reaction to the meds. because he would not have been that bruised if it was just a reaction to the shot. So that was our fun weekend. Not much else going on.

Shot Down

Zachary got 3 shots at the doctors office to get ready for school. He got all of them in the arm and didn't even cry, just like his dad. His reward for being good was lunch at Peter Pipers, I thought a round of golf would have been better.

17 Week Doctors Appt.

Well, everything went well at my doctors appointment. My doctor went to listen to the heartbeat but the baby was not having that. He could not find it's heartbeat. He starting pushing really hard on my stomach and everytime he did that the baby would kick the doppler. She was not having him pushing on her! So I got to get another ultra sound. I love ultra sounds! Everything looks great. He said everything is right on schedule. I asked him if could double check the sex but he couldn't see anything. So I go back to the doctor on July 26 for my 21 week check-up. I can't believe I am already half way through my pregnancy. It seems like forever but it seems like so soon before the baby is here. I will keep everyone posted on what is going on in our boring daily lives as it happens.

Talk to you later,

Update

Well, nothing to exciting has been going on here. That is why we don't really post that much. But I have a little bit to fill you guys in on. About two weeks ago I felt the baby for the first time. I wasn't sure it it was really it because when I felt Zach for the first time it felt different. Feeling that makes me feel like everything is going to be okay. I go for my 17 week check up on Thursday. My Doctor said he will see if he can double check a make sure she really is a girl. The chances were suppose to be 94% so let's hope those odds are right. Zach is getting so excited. There is not a day that goes by that he doesn't talk or ask questions about the baby. He has decided that since it is his baby sister he wants to name her. He has actually came up with a few cute names that could be in the running. The first one he likes is Zoey. Travis hates the name Zoey and said absolutely not, I think it is cute Zach and Zoey. The other name that Zach came with is Brooklynn. I don't know where he heard this name but I think it is pretty cute as well. Again Travis doesn't like it, it thinks it is to long. To bad he doesn't get to decide. The rule was when we had a boy he got to name him and when we had a girl I got to name her. We have a while to decide but I think Zach is coming up with a few good names. Travis likes Gabby! YUK!!!

Zach had a very very busy weekend. On Friday he went and stayed at John and Linda's. Travis and I were hoping to have a nice evening together however the toilet got more of my time. We went to dinner and I ended up with food poising. On Saturday Zach got home and we went over to my mom's because my little sister was down with her 1 year old son Blake. So Zach ended up staying the night with my mom and dad. I told him I was going to miss him and told me "oh mom you will see me tomorrow." I picked him up early on Sunday morning and we went to my aunts for a fun filled family dinner with my cousins from Oklahoma. I was there for about 3 hours before I had to go help Travis with his store inventory. Zach went home with my mom and I picked him up around 11:00 pm. All three of us were exsuased. Zach ended up crawling into be with us at about 1:00 am at which I took the couch. Between Travis and Zach I have no room in that bed. So needless to say I didn't sleep and I had to work all day yesterday. Good thing I don't have to work that much this week so I can catch up on some sleep. Oh wait Travis will get his sleep before me, he is still in bed as we speak because I had to get up with Zach and it is 9:36 am. Must be nice. I thought I was the pregnant one.

Well, that is it for now I will update everyone after my doctor's appointment on Thursday.

See ya,

Traffic School

I had to go to traffic school for 4 hrs. today. That sucked! That school today pulled in over $19,000 in traffic fines. Why the hell do we pay taxes? Hell this is the best organized crime since the mafia was around in Las Vegas. I want my cut...any ideas. All in all that was the longest 4 hrs. of my life!!! See ya in 2 years sucka!

May 29, 2007

12 Weeks and 5 Days

Well, I had my twelve week check-up, and the Doctor said everything looks great!! Thank GOD!! We have been on pins and needles. I have been going to the Dr. every two weeks so now he said I just have to come once a month like normal. I think he was having me come every two weeks so he could keep a close eye on me because of last time. Zachary went with me, as always, but he was really excited because the baby finally looks like a baby on he got to see her kicking her feet and waving her arms. She would be looking straight at us and then flip over and then flip back to looking at us. Zach was convinced she was looking for him. He was laughing the whole time because he can see that it really is a baby. I was a little nervous for this visit, because two weeks ago after my last visit they took me off all of my med's cold turkey!! So I was afraid to have to wait the full two weeks to make sure everything was okay. I don't feel like we are out of the dark yet, but everytime we go to the doctor I feel better and better. That's all for now. Hopefully we won't wait so long to post next time. We just aren't that interesting so we don't have much to say. Thank goodness for the pregnancy or we would probably never have anything to post about.

Talk to you later,

In Da Club

We went up to Vegas on Sat nite to celebrate Amber's 21st birthday. The nite started out with a nice dinner at BJ's with pizza and beer. You know nothing major. Then our group of Adam, Amber, Traci and myself crossed the street to go gamble at the Red Rock casino. It is a really nice casino, but I didn't win enough money to buy it. Now Amber whats to go out and drink and hit a club. Traci and I are up for anything, however it is now about 11:30, and we never stay out nor up that late. So we roll over to the Green Valley Resort and go into a club called Whiskey. Amber thought the place was "crackin" and we met up with some more of her friends. The club was sad, and by that I mean the people there...excluding us of course. To sum it up, it was a crowd of people who should be home with there grand kids, or too fugly to go to a good club. Traci and I have a new appreciation for each other and how we met. So we hang with our posse (gangsta' talk for group of friends) until about 1am. We leave behind a guy who stumbles into a planted tree, falls flat on his ass holding a branch, then gets up and tumbles into a dble door, veeeery impressive. What a way to end the nite. We all had a good time and it was fun to go out and be "adults". I returned home and took a nap (SWEET) ate an early dinner, and went to the pool. It is now 9pm and I am ready for bed. The same ole, same ole never felt so good.

Spiderman Sighting!!

Tonight we had an encounter with Spiderman! Travis and Zach got creative and made a Spiderman costume out of a trash bag. Travis drew a spider on the front and the back of the bag. It was quite creative. Travis and Zach just went and saw Spiderman 3 so now all Zach talks about is Spiderman. Just thought I would share our fun evening together. Don't you wish you saw Spiderman? I am going to try to attach the picture I hope it comes up.

Talk to you later,

Traci

The last week

The last week was been pretty good for me. Here is the highlights if you care:
Last Fri.: Been along time since I golfed...maybe 5 months. Played at Mohave resort and had a really good round with great weather. Zach was less than happy to not be included but I he's not ready for a big course yet. Napped later..SWEET!
Sat: Coached Zach's T ball game and had a good time. Zach did awesome in the field and hit from both sides of the plate with power. He is a chip off the ole' block. Went to the mtns. after the game and had lunch and hung out. Stopped by my mom and dad's on the way home for a visit. (THE highlight of the week:))
Sun: Rested all day with nap. SWEET!!!
Mon: Work...not so great. Leaving early for a doctor visit that is not yours..SWEET. Had good news about the baby and ate pizza when we got home. I love pizza.
Tues. Work...Traci drove me to Vegas after work, took a nap on the way up..SWEET. Had a good dinner and watched American Idol.
Weds. Met my new boss at a distric meeting. He seems like a really nice guy and I look forward to working with him. Has a positive energry, some the old boss lacked...as well as a lot of other things. Nothing can be as bad as the last 2yrs of work! Traci drove home, and yes I napped(SWEET)
Thurs. Work...same ole same ole. Traci got rolled tacos for dinner, I ate soo much I thought I might need a nap....but I fought through it....besides I had the next day off.
Today Took Zach to Spidey 3 for the early show, just the guys. Enjoyed sometime alone with him. Went home, ate lunch and then napped...SWEET!
I think the moral of this story is sleep helps me see everything in a more positve light. Talk to you all later...don't be haters.-Travis

8 Week checkup

Well, we had our 8 week check up yesterday and everything looked great! At our 6 week visit the Dr. said the baby was about 4 days behind in growth, but he wasn't worried. Yesterday he said the baby had caught up and was right on schedule. The heart beat was 181 which he said was really strong and healthy. Zach was at the appointment with us and he saw the heart beat and said "What is that, is she having a party in there! It looks like she is dancing!" We were all laughing so hard. After this visit it puts my mind at ease a lot more. We are still not out of the woods but everything looks to being going good. Now I just wait to hear from my Dr. in California. I had more blood test ran yesterday, so hopefully I will be able to quit some of the medication that I am on. I am still taking two shots in the butt and a wonderful suppository!! HA HA. So hopefully my blood test will show great results so I will be able to quit something!!! I go back to the Dr. in two more weeks, so I will keep everybody updated on what is going on. That is all for now I will talk to you all later.

2 and a half men

Zachary, Grandpa, and I went golfing today at Willow Valley. It was windy and a little chilly but we all gave it a go. Zach did well hitting the ball for the first 4 holes then lost his swing for the next 3 before regaining form. When he was finished it looked like he played a soccer game because his shoes and pants had mud all over them. He has yet to find a mud hole or puddle not to his liking. All in all we had a good time. I look back at the times when I played with my grandpa and smile. I hope he does the same one day.

First Ulta Sound

Well, we had our first Ultra Sound today. Everything turned out good. We saw the heart beat for the first time. So there is really something in there this time!!! I had some more blood test done to make sure that my levels keep going up. My doctor said that it was to early to tell if there was one or two baby's, he wants me to come back in two weeks to have another ultra sound done to check and see if he could see anymore!! We are excited but we are still being cautious about everything. After everything we went through the last time it is hard to get really excited. We went through so much the last time I just don't want to get to excited and then everything to come crashing down again. That was really hard to deal with. Once I get out of my first trimester I will feel a lot better. That is all for now I will post again soon.

First Ultra Sound Appt.

Well, Monday I have my first ultra sound appointment. Hopefully then we will know if there is one or two. I would love to have twins since this is it, but Travis of course is praying for one. As long as things continue to progress the way they are I will be happy. I had blood test done last Friday and my counts came back great! Thank goodness because some of the counts a few days before were a little low. So I will try ,Donna and Linda, to post all the info. on Monday. My appointment is not until 3:30 so you have to give me some time after that.

Easter

Well, we had a great Easter. We went and had breakfast at my mom's in the morning, and then we went out to John and Linda's for dinner. As always Zach made out with Easter gifts. He had a great time hunting for Easter eggs. He found one egg with $5.00 in it. Nothing else that exciting.

PREGNANT!!!

Well, we found out on Monday that I am indeed pregnant. We won't have an ultra sound done for a few more weeks though. We are trying not to get to excited until we make into the clear at about 12 weeks or so. I am looking foward to the 10 week mark, when I can stop taking all of these SHOTS!! It is for the best though, it keeps everything going nice and strong. I will update as things progress.

Zachary's First Tee-Ball Game

Well, Zachary had his first Tee-Ball game today. He did really good! He got up to bat three times and hit the ball all three times. He hit his last ball out into the outfield. Zachary had so much fun he can't wait until his next game.
