Final Doctors Appt.

Well, today I had my final Doctor's appointment. He said everything looks good and we are still sticking to November 29. He gave me all of my instructions for that day. So we are all set! Now it is getting scary!! Exactly 2 weeks from today we will have a new little baby!!

The Count down to "ZOEY"

Well, I had my 36 week check up yesterday and everythig is looking good. My doctor is trying to get me to have the baby on Nov. 23. That is the day after Thanksgiving and the biggest shopping day of the year. Not that I plan on going shopping but I have never had the opportunity to do so. So as of right now Zoey will be arriving on Nov. 29. So we only have 3 weeks left. I am finally getting excited but scared to start all over. Zach has been such a wonderful child I am afraid we are going to get a demon! The doctor is guessing that when I have her that she will be close to 9 lbs. Thank GOD of C-sections. I am trying to work up until the day before I have her, but it is getting harder and harder. Zach is also counting down the days for Zoey he is getting so excited. Well, that is it for now just thought I would update everybody on what is going on.

Talk to you later,

Traci

Try this

Last night in the quest for something healthy to eat I made turkey burgers. They are really good, and have almost no greese. All you have to do is buy ground turkey and mix with salt and pepper. Place E.V.O.O. (Racheal Ray) on the grill or patties to prevent sticking. These are awesome!

Yest. to save some cash, Zach and I changed the oil in my truck. It only saves about 5-10 dollars but every bit helps. Zach was my tool man on the spot. It took alittle bit of work, but the joy of saving $60 at the end of the year all seems worth it :(. Now I can super size....for Zach.....or play one round of golf...next year.

Zach is smart..like me

We got Zach's second report card last week and it is really good! He can identify all his letters (but b and v) and counts to 100 by ones, fives and tens. He also knows all his letter sounds and is one of the few in his class reading. The teacher is really awesome because she gives each student work to their level as apposed to the class lesson. Zach has all reading and adding homework. She gives him his own work in and out of class. He has accomplished everything needed to graduate kindergarten. You know he gets it from his proud dad.

Count down 3 weeks

So we now have 3 weeks until Zoe is here. I know we are ready, but it seems like it is coming so fast. My stress level is much lower this time than when Zach was coming. Not all the "can I really do this" running through your head. I guess I've learned that parenting is no perfect art. Look at Zach, even when I am the most prepared and organized, a E.R. trip is always seconds away. Kids fall, get bumps, eat when they want to, and get dirty no matter what. You're never really in control you just have to roll with it. My true worry and fear will come when she is a teen ager.

2 more games left

Two more soccer games left in the season!! It has been fun, however I am kinda happy it's ending. Most of the kids have been fun to have. The parnets on the other hand have been a real pain. They don't bother me much, or ask any questions. The main thing is they don't ever offer to help. They watch me as much as the kids. If my hands are full or the kids are running wild, they on look. Not even a thank you or good job! Half skip practice now. When the game is done, you would think there is a mad rush to leave the parking lot to get out first. I wish they got to the game as prompt as they leave it. The other team is always there early with 5 players, my team parents get there about 5 minutes after game is suppose to start! To all those with kids listen up! The coach is not getting paid and is using his free time to be with your kids. If your child is not getting better at the end of the season, try getting to practice and working with your kid at home. Another tip, police your child. If he or she wonders on and off the field have the kid pick one and let the coach know. Also help carry things, get to practice and games early, bring the coach a drink on your snack day, and say thank you. Such little things go a long way.
