Happy Birthday Zoey!!

Well, our little princess is now one years old today. It is hard to believe, this year has gone by so fast. When we started this journey we never thought it would turn out so perfectly. She brings such joy into our lives. All of the painful shots and long trips to California was completly worth it. Thank you Zach for being so patient with us when we were going back and forth. I think he was just as anxious to have a little sister as we were. You never know true joy until you see your kids laugh and play together. They love each other so much. When I was pregnant with her I was afraid after having such a perfect baby the first time that she would be the devil. She lights up everyday with endless smiles and laughter. She is truely a blessing. Happy Birthday princess! We love you!

Zoey I can't wait to celebrate your party tomarrow. I love you! Love, Brother

Thanksgiving

Zoey just loved her Uncle Sig. She would not stop giving him loves.Zoey at Grandma and Grandpa Romero's.

This was the only picture Zach would allow me to take. He was to busy playing with is cousin to stop and take any pictures. I am thankful that I at least got one!

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. We had a great one visiting with everyone. Linda your dinner was wonderful. Thanks for the leftovers. Here are a few pictures from the day.

Denver Trip

Cute little Zoey!!
This tiger kept pacing by Travis and Zoey, I think he thought Zoey was dinner. You can tell by looking at Travis he was a little uncomfortable.

Zach in one of the fish tanks

Zoey's first plane ride. She did great. On the way home she got her own seat because the plane was pretty empty, and she thought she was a big girl. Travis sat with Zach and I sat with Zoey in the row in front of them. For the first hour she looked through a magazine and played peek a boo with daddy and Zach, then she went to sleep.

Zoey got to experience her first snow. She got so excited!!

Zach was hoping for snow. It wasn't in the forecast when we left, but Zach opened the curtains our second day there and was pleased to see it snowing. It was snowing so hard we couldn't see the hotel in front of us.

Denver's local aquarium. It was pretty cool.

These pictures didn't get downloaded in the order that I wanted them to, but I wasn't going to do it again. We went to Denver this last week for a Hemophilia Convention. It was the first time that we were able to attend. We had a great time. Zach had a blast. He got to join their kids program that took them out into Denver while we were at meetings. It was great for him to see that he is not the only child with hemophilia. He is starting to struggle with the whole idea of having hemophilia so Travis and I thought that is was very important for him to be around kids with hemophilia so he could see that he was not the only one. We had a very long but fun week. We all really enjoy Denver.

Obama

I just read my cuz's blog and I just had to put up a post of my own.  Obama won and this is a good thing.  First we get someone in office who will help get health care for everyone.  Stem cell research will get funding again and maybe we could find a cure for Zach.  Another thing is he may start to end this war, that we should have never been in this long.  We are defending a country who is generating a surplus in their economy, while our country is losing money hand over fist.  W. has been the worst prez in history, that is a fact!!!  In 8 yrs. we have lost all our allies, scientific research, thousands of soldiers, the WTC buildings, good gas prices, ect. ect.  Bush you suck!!!!  The country is thankful not just for Obama winning but for the end of W. in Washington.

Zach's Final Soccer Game!

Well, soccer season has come to an end. Zachary had another great season. He really enjoy's soccer and it is a great way for him to get out and run around. He is really pretty good. I think that is because he his not afraid to get out there and be aggressive. Here is a few pictures from his final game. He is so darn cute. Tomarrow we are headed off to Denver for the National Hemophilia Convention. We are all so excited. I will post pictures when we get back.

Halloween

Well, hope everyone had a good Halloween. We didn't do much, Zach went trick-or-treating at our local mall on last Sunday so he already had a lot of candy. We took him out to a neighborhood and he went trick-or-treating for about and hour and a half. He then wanted to come back to our house to hand out candy. It was Zoey's first Halloween and of course she had to be a princess. So I dressed her up as Snow White. Zachary wanted to be a storm trooper from Star Wars. All and all we had a good time. Here are a few pictures of the kids.
