Chargers week one
That was a defensive battle between two top ranked D's of last season and I will say this season. LT is being dogged for not having a big game, and Rivers is taking some to. The Bears D is great, it got them to the SB last year. SD is not going to put up 30+ points a game. LT is not going for 100 yds every game and Rivers may even throw an int. every so often. Here are the facts the way I see it. Rivers threw the ball outstanding and to the right people almost every time. He had one int. on his only bad pass of the game, it happens. LT was still money without the stats. He was the reason for all 14 points! Gates was unstoppable (with 9 men in the box he should have been) the Bears chose to stop the run at any cost. LT having a game where he could do nothing, and the team still winning is the real thing people should look at. This was the "blueprint" to stopping SD, but you still come away with an 11 point loss. The D for SD held up big time! The Bears O is bad, but the D did what it was suppose to do, force turnovers and not give up a big play. The ref's almost cost us the game with that bullshit no call on the offsides, but it seemed to get the offense going. That was such a crappy turnover with no fault to the center or QB. Pats are next Sunday in prime time, Go Bolts! P.S. The Raiders lost again. You suck Oakland!!!

It was a good game, and that call did suck!! Unbelievable! I guess I should start betting on the Chargers, which I did, it was the other teams I chose that let me down!
