Zoey eating

Zoey is now eating baby food. She is so funny, she gets so excited to eat. She opens her mouth wide and her arms and feet just start going. Just thought we would share her new experience with everyone.

Just a little food for thought

About a month ago Megan posted about a mother who was arrested for leaving her child in a car, even though she could see her. Well, Travis and I just happen to run into one of our old neighbors from Hespiera, CA last week. They told us that their oldest daughter moved to Missouri a couple of years ago. She had only been there for a couple of weeks and didn't have a phone yet. One of her kids had gotten sick so she went to use a pay phone to call the doctor. She parked her car by the pay phone and left the kids in the car because they were sleeping. She left the car running because it was the middle of winter and she wanted to keep the heat on. She was on the phone with the doctor and watching the car when a man ran up to her car jumped in the car and started to take off. She said it all happen so quickly. She ran to the car door and tried to open it to jump in to save the kids. The driver had already started to take off. She was hanging on to the car door and the car ran over her leg. She would not let go because her three kids were in the car with this man. She was drug on the road for a half a mile. She eventually let go of the car. The cops found her car later that evening with the kids in the car safe. She was rushed to the ER where they had to amputate her left leg. This all because she left her kids in the car. So this just reconfirms my thoughts on why you should never leave your kids in the car no matter what. Just wanted to give everyone a little to think about.

Zoey now likes to listen to herself talk. She is so loud sometimes, and she goes forever. She is usually most talkative after she wakes up and has had something to eat. Just thought we would share her talking with everyone. Here Grandma Romero it is a little longer this time like you requested!

We have been through so much in the last 10 years, and we are only still starting our life together. We have had more ups than down, more highs than lows. Zach and Zoey are the pride of lives, how did we ever exist without them. You have brought more to my life than I ever thought I would have....love you.-Travis
